Hi and hope all is well. We have a striped guy that makes the nightly rounds by our bedroom window sometimes you smell him sometimes he just makes noise. Beautiful animals best seen from a bit of a distance.
Ours have been living with us for 16 years, so many generations. Last year a very old large skunk died under our deck which had to be reconstructed – the body was in pieces from other predators. Since then we have rarely seen them – maybe they know it is a grave?

Perhaps if well all forego the showers while sheltered at home when we emerge we will all have established a natural social distancing mechanism. 🙂
