At Biscuit Basin on a cloudy January day. Steam and snow, hot and cold, a quiet landscape with much to say. One of my favorite winter spots to sit and take in Yellowstone National Park.
Thanks David, I found that light to be wonderful. In winter it shines through on those cloudy days just enough to light up the colors of the earth. Hope you have a great weekend.

Pretty! It’s like the ground has a patina to it. Love the mistiness!

Great light. Feels cold but very reflective!

Thanks, yes it was cold but around the thermal features it is just warm enough.

Land of contrasts. I like the way the sunlight is reflected in the mud.

Hi eliza, yes the light was wonderful. Just enough sunlight shinning through the grey of the winters sky to bring out the colors of the earth.
