Ice Fishing

We watched this Otter dry off on the ice and then quickly dive back into the water looking for fish on Yellowstone lake.

Another successful day out on the ice for this Otter.

  Hi Eliza, it was fun watching this otter and who would have thought ice makes a good towel for drying off. Each time they emerged from the water onto the ice they would rub around on it to dry off.

I love watching otters play. And the fishtail hanging out of those powerful jaws is a nice catch –for you and the otter!

  Thanks, they are fun to watch especially in groups. This one was alone that day. Wonder where their buddies were.
