Hi Eliza, the adults were probably out hunting. They would all gather together a couple times per day which was preceded by the wonderful sounds of howling.

That must have been a wonderful experience, if a bit hair-raising. I love to hear coyotes, but a primal part of me gets the shivers. 🙂

This was the first time we got to hear wolves as like you most of our experience has been with coyotes. It was amazing to say the least.

Hi, yes those are big paws you have little wolf cub. It was August so these guys were perhaps 5-6 months old.
