Winter light shining into the redwoods along the the Navarro river in Northern California. Somehow I seem to always find the beam of light that is focused upon a beautiful old stump or the stump finds me. Not really sure which way it works but I really enjoy the feeling of being in these forests.
Looking out through a patch of lupines into the Pacific ocean on beautiful spring morning with just a touch of fog to make things interesting.
Fog rolling in from the ocean provided the perfect backdrop for morning sunlight peeking in from the east to make these succulents shine. Photographed while walking the beach at Mackerricher State Park north of Mendocino, CA.
