Fall colors in full bloom so to speak up high near Hagerman pass in Central Colorado. It begins up high then works it’s way down the hill. In a week or so the aspen will be glowing yellow and in another week all the colors may be gone.
While out on a recent hike we were treated to a quick glance by a cautious Red Fox who then quickly slipped behind the bushes and out of sight. A moment in time but a moment not forgotten. Red Rocks Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, Montana.
This Coot was busy as a bee harvesting all the tender young growth from the tops of these plants on a local pond one afternoon. We watched him swim from plant to plant getting quite the meal.
