A bull Elk enjoys the suns warming rays as well as an early morning meal to help get the day off to a wonderful start.
Wishing you a great weekend.

These male Elk seemed ok with sharing the title “king of the hill” this afternoon although it seems certain that will not be the case this fall.

Peeking in on a well hidden Bull and Cow elk who were enjoying a bit of afternoon sunshine in the golden fall fields. Those warming rays must fell darn good these days as nights have gotten colder than normal these last few weeks.

Mom doing her best to make sure a yearling Elk has washed behind their ears.
Happy Friday and wishing you all the best.

Enjoying a bit of afternoon sunlight a Bull Elk wandered slowly by.

These kids made it through kindergarten and are now on to first grade. Elk and mule deer that were only Fawns and calves just a short time ago are heading into winter as the first snows have hit the ground.

A young mule deer wondering what this white stuff is all about.

An elk calf ponders their next move just a short time ago when the plants still were rich with green.

Perhaps a few leaves from this wild rose will do.

Good luck kids and we hope you make it to second grade next spring.
Happy weekend to all.

A Fine looking Bull Elk peeking out from the sagebrush on an early October day. Eating all he can before the rut begins in earnest. We wish him well and a bit of luck when needed.
