Endless Summer
In a landscape that sometimes seems endless summer is coming to an end. The grass is going to seed. The flow in the stream has become lazy and the nights just a bit cooler.
Feral
Once domestic but now free, an apple tree thrives when left to grow on it’s own terms underneath an old cottonwood tree. Something to aspire to….. and boy did those apples make a fine pie.
November Towhee
A Spotted Towhee enjoying the late afternoon view from an old adobe wall with a crisp blue sky overhead. This guy almost looked ornamental or sculptural in his pose but after a few minutes was gone.
