We spotted these eggs camouflaged amongst the rock on a small island in a local pond with no goose in sight. Were they abandoned? Only time will tell.

Feathered sky in a rocky landscape with the sea behind my eyes. Sky as well as land and sea are all a part of place. Understanding what they do is knowledge of that place.

While quietly watching the young moose learn important lessons by watching her mother it became clear that observation without words is something I should do more often.
