Two American Coots enjoying an afternoon in the golden reflection of cattails gone brown for the season. We are still waiting for the Ducks to return and fill up the ponds but until the Ducks arrive the Coots have the place all to themselves. Fall can be a quiet time.
Was the weekend real or a dream. Friday as warm and sunny whereas Saturday was cool and rainy and Sunday a mixture of the two. Is it really Monday already? What a wonderful time of year.
