It’s been very windy here in Colorado the last few days so a nice tranquil sunset feels like a needed contrast. Setting sun over calm water captured with Holga Pinhole camera a few years back.

Wouldn’t it be great if we had eyes in the back of our heads. While watching the sunrise one morning in Belize I turned around to find the clouds behind me glowing pink and the water smooth as glass. Photographed with a Zero Image pinhole camera and Kodak Ektar film on Glovers Atoll in Belize.

Peering out into a calm blue ocean with a quiet pink sun peeking through the clouds is not a bad way to start the day. Sunrise on Glovers atoll in Belize photographed with a Zero Image 2000 pinhole camera.
Well I have made it one full year into this journey. It has been and will continue to be a vehicle that may wiggle from side-to-side a bit but keeps on track nonetheless. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has viewed, commented and provided encouragement over the last year as without you blogging would not be the fun and enriching experience it has turned out to be. Thanks!

And a few more from the vault:

Winter Cottonwoods in all life stages are a wonderful to look at. Pinhole photograph taken at a local park on a snowless winter day.

Photographed on a beautiful day last summer in Iceland. I do believe that I was the only tourist using a pinhole camera that afternoon.

Wishing everyone a very happy holiday season. May santa leave a few rolls of film and a pinhole camera in your stocking…just for fun.

When the sky is blue and the sun is out, winter is my favorite season. Aspens strutting their aspen-ness beneath a brilliant blue sky. Photographed with a holga pinhole camera.

Looking up the slate river valley towards paradise divide. Holga Wide Pinhole Camera.

Pinhole photograph taken while hiking up towards daisy pass in central Colorado early this fall. Zero Image 2000 and Kodak Tmax 100 iso film.
