Blue skies, long shadows and the winter sun cement a feeling of time and place. There is more to the seasons than a change of weather.

The eye of a pinhole camera looking up a quiet valley in central Colorado on a late fall day. Zeroimage 2000 pinhole camera and Kodak Tmax100 film.

The aster in fall is my favorite. The flower petals are just drying up and the colors are faded but present. Each flower seems to be directly pointing to the cycle that is life.

Photographing from my kayak is always fun since you are always moving a bit. This was taken looking in towards the shore on Leigh Lake in Grand Teton National Park.

Kayaking in a vast landscape of glaciers, mountains, endless geology and feeling like an atom in the universe. One with all and all with one. East Greenland, 2013.
