Decembers Light
The mid-December sun, traveling low across southern sky casts long shadows on the icey blue face of a small pond and gently lights the landscape beyond. Decembers light is like no other and helps me keep track of the time like no wall calendar or wristwatch can.

The rivers pace has slowed as the mountain snowmelt that gives it life has become a trickle.
The summer sun has moved to the south and the shadows are getting long.

As the sun goes down
The plants of the high desert once green with the summers rains now glow golden with the November setting sun. A nice way to add a bit of warmth to start of a chilly night in the high desert of Northern New Mexico.
Into the light
When it feels that night time is waxing and daylight on the wane looking ingot the the sunlight helps guide my way.
Lefty
An old friend at a local park. Lost his right arm in the windstorm of 63 but is still going strong and happy to tell you a story if you are willing to sit and listen for a bit.

The rabbit brush has gone from yellow to white, the grass is dry and brown and the light is lower and just a bit harsh. November is here.
In An Endless Autumn
Several shades of gold cascade from high up in the hills deep into the valley below.
Early autumn warmth lingering into the last day of October and not forecast to end. Beautiful days sand brisk cool nights.
