I was a split second away from getting a clear picture of one of these, but it flew off as a cat lunged forward. We don’t get these in Britain, but one had escaped from a private collection.

Oh man, these guys were a bit shy but after watching for a bit they came out from the bushes they were hiding in and posed nicely on the branch. It is always fun to see a new bird isn’t it.
