I take pinhole pics myself so I respect others work in that matter becuse I know how hard it is to master this process. Anyway great photo. I love the grain on this film. In my opinion the worst thing about digital photography is lack of a true grain…

Thanks for the kind feedback I appreciate your thoughts as it helps me develop as a photographer. I love the challenge of pinhole photography and am still working things and I agree the grain of film gives a specific look which can be very pleasing to look at. If you think about it over 100years of trial and error went into developing the films we use today and that has to account for something.

Exactly. That’s why I think that analog photography will allways have a significant advantage over digital just because You have to master the process itself, just to take a good photo. In digital on the other hand it’s just point and shoot.

Although if used right a digital camera can be a great learning tool to give rapid feedback. It just has to be used correctly. Maybe all digital cameras should be given training wheels so to speak like memory card that only holds 12 images. 🙂

This looks like you have photographed a dreamscape. Beautiful.

Thanks for the feedback. I think part of the dreamy quality was the cold that day in a way that only a photo can describe.

Thanks Heather, the pinhole camera, some would say, is where it all started. A small hole in a box is all it takes.

This is gorgeous. I thought it was a painting at first. I love monochromes : )

Thanks Anita, coming from a painter it is quite a compliment to have a painterly photo. I love the pinhole for giving that soft effect and monochrome was in order on a very monochrome day. All the Best.
