It was indeed past my bedtime but technically you can’t get in trouble for that when the sun never really sets. The summer sunset skimming the horizon and hiding behind the mountains of East Greenland, 2013.

This one really stopped me and made me look closely. Beautiful. I especially like those reticent wisps of clouds in the middle ground.

Thanks I am glad you noticed the clouds as they are really cool and very interesting although they did portend a bit of a change for the weather the next day and it was not a good change. You have to enjoy those sunsets when you can that is for sure. Have a great weekend.

Hi, the photo is from a trip we took last summer. It is a wonderful place and I am longing to return. Maybe next summer or spring. If you click the greenland tag in my tag cloud on the homepage of the blog you can see all the photos posted from that trip and if you have questions I am happy to try to answer what I can.
