That is true, and something that doesn’t always look right when I am painting them in water. Great image 🙂

Hi Melissa, in water those legs disappear and once you see just how long they are you realize just how deep of a pond these guys fish in. Hope you are having a good day.

And I was leading a Girl Scout outing a few years ago. One of the women helping thought they were the ugliest birds. I never did understand that remark!
