Awesome B&W photo, are you ever worried of dropping your cameras in the water? When we went canoeing I had my strap as tight as possible on my video camera and used my digital waterproof camera which doesn’t have very good quality instead of my DSLR because I couldn’t afford getting it wet 🙂

Alex, the thought of dropping the camera is always in my mind. I usually keep it tucked away in a pelican case when not using it. It is a bit of a pain to have to take it out to take a photo but gives me a bit of security. We also use a bit of an older DSLR in the kayak. I also use my waterproof Pentax which is not the best but can give a pretty good picture and is great to stick in the water to give a neat perspective sometime. Thanks for checkin gout the blog and have a great day.

very nice – simple but strong shapes, strong contrasts in texture and value – both the upright gesture of the tree and the gravity bound “sentinel” rock have a strong presence – thanks
