Thanks, hope your day is going well. I like that the DOF give the feeling of life just going on with all at ease and all creatures doing their own thing.
I love muskrats! We used to have a lot of them here. I haven’t seen one in 2 years. I was hoping a couple would find their way here this year with all the rain. The drought pretty much wiped them out. Beautiful shot!
Hi, I hope a couple of Muskrats do make it back into your area sometime soon. They are always fun to observe sliding into the water from the banks and swimming through the pond.
Yes, vacations always are way too short! Nice to have you back, though. 🙂

Good to have you back. Vacation? From your blog it feels like you are always on vacation! 🙂

I can take plenty of photos in a couple of weeks and being in Colorado does give plenty of weekend opportunities. Work is indeed calling.

Wow this is a great shot. The Depth of Field makes the duck in that background so subtle. Well down.

Wonderful photo, Mike. I love the muskrat going about his day, with the cinnamon essence in the background.

Yes, I can understand how a nature lover would feel weary of city life. Retirement, once you reach that goal, will be the answer to your longing! 🙂
