An American Robin Enjoying the fall light in a forest of mixed colors. We have tons of Robing in our area in the spring and early summer and as the young fledge they are absent until Autumn begins. Glad to see they have returned.
What a perfect shot! So close with feather detail and focus on the eye and how it is framed so nicely. My favorite bird, Robins. Great way to start the morning. Thank you!
Mary
Saw robins this week for the first time since late spring. Didn’t know why they disappeared, because they nest nearby. Thanks for the information. and the picture.
Beautiful light and such lovely detail on the feathers.

Those fall colors do filter the light in a magical way and we were lucky enough that this guy landed to perch so close. Hope your day is going well.

Hi Jane, it does seem like the robin is a ubiquitous bird of childhood for us in the USA. A longtime and welcome friend.
