Being a mountain dweller and seeing Moon Snail Egg Collars for the first time left me quite perplexed. We found these on a beach and my first thought was a ship lost a few boxes of gaskets that washed up onto the beach. After a few hours of research we discovered what they actually were and were left in pure awe of the creative powers of nature.

What the heck!? Looks like an alien! My son is constantly looking for moon snails while at the beach. I hope to see one with my own eyes.

Hi and your welcome. These egg collars are a cool sight and until we found out what they were thought they were just rubber gaskets washed up on the beach.
