Photographing wildlife from a moving kayak is fun but the results are always uncertain due to the movement of the river and the subject. Luck happened to be on our side as we watched this elk in Grand Teton National Park.
She is a muscular Elk for sure and in prime condition after a nice summer full of food. Hope your day has been a great one and wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Great shot, Mike. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to see elk without thinking of that viral video of the woman getting clocked by one when she got too close. Did you see it?
Hi Eliza, unfortunately I have seen numerous viral video or so it seem over the last year of folks getting clocked by Elk, bison, moose you name it in the quest of a close-up or selfie.
Oh, I love it!!! ❤
