A small Brown Treecreeper eyes the way onward and upward with the hopes of finding a small grub along the sloping landscape of a cottonwood tree. Photographed along Clear Creek in Denver, CO.
That’s an amazing coincidence. We had a Treecreeper in our tree yesterday, Though we didn’t get a picture of it of course, so well done for capturing it! 🙂
Hi and thanks, these guys have such good camoflage it is easy to miss them going up the trees. Your pretty luck to have had one in your trees do they visit often?
Hi Jim, they are indeed small birds and we don’t see them very often. Probably would be hard to find when the leaves are on the trees. Hope your day is going well.
They can climb do vertically, upside down and around. I love watching them.

We see them now and then. Tiny and quick. I like how they start at the bottom, go up, then return to the bottom of another tree.

I have never seen one of these – lovely! BTW, the Robins still haven’t arrived?

Hi, have they arrived yet. It got cold up here over the last week so that should send them down your way.
