Wonderful photo!
Thanks Harrie, it was very cool to see so many colors in the land in such a small place.
Amazing! That looks like an aerial photograph.
Thanks it was amazing land. I am just standing a bit up hill and looking down onto that amazing section of land near some geothermal features. Sure makes you realize the earth is indeed alive by any definition.
Wow! … “earth is indeed alive by any definition.” what a pleasant reminder, worded in a slightly different way.
🙂
How interesting. Yes, remarkable coloration as you said, and I really like the composition as well.
Thanks Dave, I did wander around a bit to get that composition so I appreciate the feedback on that.
A truly captivating image.
Thanks.
It is amazing and it is all there for us to see.
This image looks like it was arranged by Andy Goldsworthy. What an amazing earth painting shot!
Hi Lynnae, I am a big fan of Andy Goldsworthy and you can sure see where he draws inspiration from when looking at this landscape. Hope you are doing great.
Cool!

A natural moasaic for sure.
Great capture Mike, fascinating what’s going on to create these effects 🙂
Thanks Nigel, makes me wish I had some extra geology classes in University.
Amazingly facinating! 🙂
Thanks for taking time to stop by and check out the photo. It is amazing what happens when things just happen. Thanks for you feedback as it is indeed appreciated.
Is this natural? A work of nature? Beautiful!
what exactly are we looking at Mike.A old geothermal vent with mineral precipitate?
Cracked canvas of an old masterpiece
Minerals galore! Great shot, Mike.
Wow. Mineral salts. Who would have imagined the colors?
