We spotted many Swainsons Hawks while driving a quiet yet bumpy backroad but this one stood out. Standing tall and alert as a chilly wind more reminiscent of winter than spring puffed up those beautiful white breast feathers.

Hi Jet, yes those bumpy backroad have so much to offer. We had a dog once we would alway take on long hikes and she always slept contently in the car until we reached the dirt road. Once on dirt she sprung awake knowing that soon the fun would begin.
