Thanks Marie, A beautiful tree and a pinhole camera just seem to work so well. Maybe it is the fact that shape more then focus seem to represent a tree best.
That is so true!
(If you are wondering why I’m following, unfollowing and following you again and again, it is just my ordinary daily struggle with this f….ing Reader, just hate it….. Sorry, and I HOPE I’m still following you, that is at least my intention….) 😀
Very true, it gets more difficult – and exhausting – when you are not. When you live within a constant insecurity what to do/change next, where to go, in which direction, unsure what will follow if you decide this or that way (there they are again, the pesky little thoughts). When you feel like a dandelion seed, blown into different directions every few days. I just can repeat – oh, yes, rather be like a tree. 🙂
P.S: And this tree has gigantic roots, or so it seems. Envious I am. 😉
Yes and if we could only act like the tree do she we need to and not so when the time is right. Rooted to the earth makes it easy for the mind to be free.
Thanks, it is fun to use the pinhole. No viewfinder helps get the brain focus on framing thing in the mind. Always learn a lesson when I get that role of film back. Thanks for taking the time to give us a little feedback we really appreciate it. Hope your day is going well and wishing you a wonderful week ahead.
Love you slice of focus and the tones! NICE!
THanks Tammy, the slice of focus was a bit of luck since I used the pinhole camera for this but I can argue with the results.
I love the intimate atmosphere of this shot….very creative….and of course agree utterly with your words 🙂
Thanks. Atmosphere is something I hope to present in my photography, sometimes better than others.
OMG Mike, this is so great!!! I love this kind of pinhole images!

Marie, no worries. I always do that by mistake when I am using my ipad as a browser.
Aaah! That’s a beautiful photograph – and matching words!
Thanks.
Nice pinhole image! What kind of pinhole camera is it? Homemade? I use a lot of coffee cans.. Cafe Bustelo! LOL
Richard thanks. The camera is a zero image, not homemade.

Well rooted indeed! Good stuff!!
Thanks Val. Hop your day isn going well.
Wow ! nice shot!!
Thanks.
Cool shot, Mike! Love the way you’ve framed the root of the tree.
Thanks Jane, sometimes it is just luck with the framing on the pinhole given there is no viewfinder.
Lovely sentiments and pic Mike
Thanks Miriam, tress always help give me that feeling of being connected to the earth.
Oh I know exactly what you mean. I’m a big time tree hugger Mike 🙂
and the best things about being a tree hugger is that those trees always seem to hug you back.
I do agree. We feel it to the core don’t we?
Yes all the way to the core. So much wisdom in those old trees.
