Impressive photo, Mike. The artistry is delightful in itself, and then add to that how skittish mergansers are and what a very special bird the hooded mergansers are, this is, like I said, impressive. 🙂

  Thanks Jet, We really enjoy watching the Hoodies, from the wild hair of the females to the extravagant courting displays of the males and even when they are just chill in as in this photo they make for a fine day.
