While there are not many birds around today the first day of February seems like a nice time to remember spring is on it’s way….someday.

Green grass, liquid lakes and one of my favorite friends the White faced Ibis will soon return again.

  Hi Jim, too bad they don’t make it your way. If you are ever traveling through Utah visit Bear River Migratory Bird refuge and you will likely see some.

  Spring will indeed come but based upon Punxsutawney Phils reaction today it appears we will have 6 weeks more of winter.

  Ibis with their resplendent plumage do have a very regal way especially when standing tall like this one.
