There were a few arched eyebrows when I allowed a dead apple to remain in my yard – there was still a lot of ‘life’ left in that tree. Only after it fell over in a storm did I allow it to be cut up for firewood.
Hi Eliza, nice that you left that old apple tree for others to find a home. We feel the same way and unless an old tree poses hazard it seems they should be left until they fall.
