Within the silence of the soft sky and fresh snow is the sound of a river which flows ever onward in the cold. Silently around the bend and to the south where the sun is waiting to return one day. Yellowstone National Park, 2015.
Nature’s best music (along with birdsong!). Lovely soft light, it feels like change is in the air.

I love the panorama and incredible breadth of this shot….It always comes as a shock when you look up at the sky and realize there is no end to the sky…no matter how tall things around you are, “up” is relative…..
Hi and thanks for the feedback. I guess in essence understanding the relativity of it all is perhaps the most valuable lessen we can learn and easier said than practiced. Hope you have had a great weekend and tanks again for the feedback. It is indeed thought provoking.
I agree. So much time is spent blocking stuff out instead of letting stuff into our brains. A little quiet therapy would do most humans good from time to time.
Well put and just this morning I have heard those birds singing in my neighborhood. Birds that were not here just last week. Spring is indeed on the way. Hope your week is a great one.
Yes, the silence of sound
