We eagerly anticipate the springtime return of the catbirds to the woods behind our house. Their jazzy vocalizations are perfect. Melanie has named her blog Catbird Quilt Studio.

Catbird Studio is a fine name for a quilting studio. Catbird vocalizations are like pieces of a quit and always put together just a bit differently. Very nice.

They do have an enjoyable, melodious song. We had a pair hatch two broods in the yard this summer. Some birds have already started moving south. Where did the time go?
