I love great blue herons. We see them all the time, fishing in the inlet by our house. Wonderful birds to watch (and photograph). Your photo is excellent.

I have a love hate relationship with these beautiful birds. They eat my goldfish and Koi given half a chance. Still, they are huge when you get up close and they take off.
