You’re right– jays do have a lot of personality. Great pic!
Hi Maria, and you just never know how that Personality is going to express itself when these guys come to visit. Always a fun time.
Capital P!
I like that capital P with a well deserved exclamation point. Cheers.
So true! But I have to say … I adore all the peeps who visit the feeder.
Yes, they are always welcome and much fun to observe. Hope your week is going well.
Cheeky birds, the jays. And I have always voted the Stellers Jay America’s most elegant jay (Bluejay comes in a close second). Your photo captured the Personality well, Mike.
Amazing bird, beautiful, don’t have them in Europe!
Hi Jet, each jay variety in North America does have something going for it and I have always found the California Scrub Jay a beautiful birds as well. Perhaps because we seem the less often the Blue or Stellars jays. Nonetheless that brilliant blue is sure something else.
Excellent capture, Mike. They are such jaunty birds!
Hi Eliza, yes they do seem full of themselves at times but in a good way.
I love these birds. We don’t have them out east. I feel like you could have a conversation with one of them.
and what a conversation it would be.
