Spending time watching the clouds and light change on at Iron Spring Creek. Autumn grass and sky were on display and ever changing just as the weather was that day.
While looking south the clouds filled then left the sky to various degree in just 15 minutes time.
Then turning to look north the sky was gray and filled with soft clouds…
…but within 15 minutes a bit of blue filled the sky and color filled the landscape at Iron Spring Creek on this early October day.
Don’t blink. You might miss it.

Wonderful and unique landscapes, Mike, that only Yellowstone can give. The colors, thermals, open skies–truly fantastic. Thanks for this moment at beautiful Iron Spring Creek.

HI Ellen, it is one of our favorite thermal areas in Yellowstone. A little less crowded on most days and just a wonderful to visit.
