About

Welcome to nature has no boss the photography and thought blog of Michael Bizeau and Christine Schultheis.

We are inspired by nature and that which happens of its own accord and view “nature” not as a thing or a place but as a process we are all a part of. We hope you enjoy the images we present here and you can take some time to look around and become inspired by the wonderful planet we live on.

“When you have seen one ant, one bird, one tree, you have not seen them all.”

    1. Hi Barb, well sort of neighbors we live in Denver. We do like to go out the plains on the weekends to do some photography and look for birds. Thanks for passing along the link we will have to try to make it up to your area some weekend as it is not too far and could provide different opportunities.

  7. A picture is worth a thousand words… I am having a hard time with writing a lil something to say with the pictures I post. With alot of my photos.. there is no words I can put to the ‘feel’ of what the scene inspires within me. I can appreciate the simplicity of your blog. After browsing around I have two questions for you, if you don’t mind? What experiment do you refer to? and I am curious to know what is pinhole photography?

Hi Mike and Christine. I like your blog. I just read your junco post. We have them in NM in the winter – the dark-eyed juncos in several varieties – Oregon, slate colored, pink sided and grey-headed. I love them. They just seem so solid. They get along with all the other birds, and are so pretty. Thanks for your picture.

    1. Hi Mary, we also really like the Junco and are amazed by the varieties and subtle differences among them. They are as you say solid and seem at home in the winter here when many birds have fled for warmer climates. Hope you are having a great day and wishing you all the best in 2015.

We love the mourning dove in the snow and we have even posted a similar shot a year or so back of on all puffed out after an overnight snow storm. They are beautiful birds indeed. Cheers, and have a wonderful day.

      1. A big part of the fun of my blog is the variety of people that I “meet”. It is a curiosity to me how they come across my offerings. Thank you for taking the time to answer. ;->

I think I am going to really enjoy reading your offerings.
