A nice group of Mule Deer peek out from behind the juniper on a wonderful bluebird day as the snow slowly melts away on the sagebrush covered hills. A welcoming sight on a wonderful early spring day.

With the weather this last week going from shirt sleeves and short to gore-tex and boots in the course of a single day this Prairie dog asks the question is it spring yet?
Although I like the unpredictability of it all it sure was nice sitting on the patio with the afternoon sun warming my bones the other day.

Afternoon Snack
Looking ready for spring and the fresh new grass it will deliver a Bighorn Sheep makes due with an afternoon snack from last years growth now exposed as the snow begins to melt.
Along the Madison
Sounds of silence along the Madison river on a day where the sun tired as hard as it could peek through.
The early bird
May not get the worm with all the snow covering the ground but it is sure nice to see the Horned Larks out and about on the backroads.
