At the feet of giants
Floating down the Snake River at the feet of giants with their heads up in the clouds. The Teton range is a majestic sight even on an overcast September day.
On a cloudy day
On a cloudy day a hike into the misty mountains yields much needed nature therapy. At first there is resistance but once the feet hit the trail and the rain jacket put on it all seems to feel just right.

A misty morning sunrise over the now leafless forest. Nice way to start the day.

Braided streams flowing off a glacier. Many divergent yet parallel paths all flowing towards the sea.
Towards Daisy Pass
Good things happened when I pointed the trusty old black holga towards the peaks near Daisy Pass in Central Colorado on an early fall day. Holga 120N and Kodak Tmax film.
when it got windy
The clouds got interesting, as well as the waves, when the afternoon breeze kicked up. Photographed while kayaking on Shoshone Lake in Yellowstone NP.
Glacier Lilly
Up high in the mountains where the snow is just melting the Glacier Lilies are starting to appear. The dark green background made for a fun conversion to BW as the sunlight gently illuminates the petals of this wonderful flower.
Scarp Pinhole
We took the pinhole camera up on scarp ridge and and came home with a fuzzy memory… but are’t they all.
