Looks like this attempt was a failure but it does not stop a coyote from trying. A lesson learned.
Each partially hidden within the grass we were content to observe each other for quite some time. Eventually hunger got the best of us and I headed home for dinner and the coyote off to hunt.

While hiking through the grass at a local park we spotted a Coyote looking right at home in the soft fall grass.
