After the snowmelt
Looking west while heading towards Sepulcher Mountain Trail in Yellowstone NP. The snow has melted from down low and spring storms are heading in from the west to help green up the grasses. Things are falling into place.

Just over the hill
The spring storms keep rolling in and this one is just over the hill. The spring rains provide wetland habitat for migratory birds and a welcome drink for the high sagebrush landscape of Arapahoe National Wildlife refuge near Walden, Colorado.
Red Tailed on a Grey Day
A Red tailed Hawk surveying the fields for prey on an overcast spring morning. Gotta be plenty of mice out there, somewhere. Out in the fields near Laramie, Wy.
