Islet and Fog
Something about fog brings out the quiet in the landscape so much so that sometimes all I want to do is sit and watch the quiet. Photographed while kayaking past one of the innumerable small islets along the west coast of Vancouver Island on a foggy and rainy morning. August, 2015.

I really like these flowers for their 3 dimensional nature and as summer winds down I really wanted to post another wildflower photo. Taken up high in rustlers gulch near Crested Butte, CO.

We did not stay long enough to see the outcome, but this crab looks to be on the menu for a vibrant purple sea stars breakfast.

Into the Sunset

Looking out into the Pacific while hiking the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet, Canada. A wilderness abounds from the diverse life contained in a single tidal pool to the vastness of the ocean receding into the fog.
