A Horned Lark hunting for food from his perch on a beautiful weathered fence post on the Pawnee National Grasslands in Eastern Colorado .

Choices abound for this Horned Lark in the Arapahoe National Wildlife Refuge.

A fine looking bluebird couple hanging out on a post along the road to Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. This couple was taking a break from chasing away the tree swallows from their nesting box along the road. It seemed like at every nest box along the road similar battles were taking place.
