Early one morning we spotted these White Faced Ibis resting on a local lake. Not a common sight around here and within a half hours after taking this photo they flew off. I have yet to see them on this lake again.

I’ve never seen White Faced Ibis before. This shot of them foraging is wonderful.

Maria thanks. The day I took this photo was my first experience with the Ibis and so far I have yet to repeat it. They only pass through the area during spring and fall migration and do not stay long before getting on their way.

Got to shoot sime pelicans and cornorands in the Danube Delta a few tears back… Quite a dynamic.
