Big clouds moving across the sky above tree-line made for a beautiful early fall day up high in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass wilderness.

We took a hike to the base of Maroon Bells many years ago. I will never forget this experience. It was so beautiful and I was so overcome with the surrounding beauty that I sat down and began to cry. I had never done this before. As we hiked back to our car it began to snow, making this day truly unforgettable. Thanks for reminding me of this hike with your beautiful photo.
