Pull over!

When on long drives I always see things I want to photograph but seldom stop to do so. Don’t know why but I suspect the lure of the destination becomes more important than the journey. This time I did pull over for a nice sunset lighting up the tall grass in Northern New Mexico a few weeks ago.

Woah. If I may say so (that was actually my first word seeing this). Definitely worth pulling over. Love it – the color of the grass lit by the sun, the blue of sky and clouds, the light gleaming through… Besides I can relate to that “seeing things and don’t stop” – though it’s from train in my case (mostly) and so stopping would not really be advisable. 😉

I’m so happy you pulled over. Such a gorgeous picture! Nature never lets us down. Hope you pull over more often! Great capture.

  Thanks, it is indeed a challenge once you get into driving mode to pull over dig out the camera and take a photo. I am glad I stopped as well.
