Pavarotti is the perfect title! I was just looking at the picture from a different point of view–the bird reminds me of a traffic cop at a busy intersection.
I am sure Pavarotti would have loved this tribute. Pavarotti was a great singer with a glorious voice (I don’t think he was interested in conducting). The sound of his tenor voice gave people chills of excitement.
I sang with the Washington National Opera (WNO) for 13 years, and watched Placido Domingo both sing and conduct many times….but….alas…I never had the opportunity to meet Pavarotti.
