With a Storm brewing over the Teton Range we pulled our kayaks to the bank of the Snake River and were treated to an wonderful view. We snapped a few shots and then high-tailed it down stream to avoid the approaching rain. Grand Teton National Park, WY.

So so beautiful. Great shot.

I’ve always loved traveling through the Grand Tetons in Wyoming, however I have not been on the River there. Great shot! You can “feel” the rain coming in it.

By any means the Tetons are a great location for a little fun. If you ever get the chance to float the snake river you should do so. Lots of wildlife viewing opportunities especially if you go sunup or sundown.

Thanks for the feedback and feeling the mood. It did let loose shortly after we took the photo but we got lucky and just beat it by making it to out take out spot on the river. Wising you a great week.

Hi Barb, thanks for the very nice comment. Perhaps it is the perspective from the river that makes this different. The Tetons sure are a beautiful range and I can see how easy it is to fall into the trap of recreating “classic” images. Hope you have a great day and thanks again for the feedback as we do appreciate it.
