I had to come back to this one to know what the Pika was (in my profession, Pica is when someone eats items not necessarily considered food :-). We don;t have these guys in my area (that I know of)
LB, Pica live fairly high up in the mountains and we usually see them above timberline. Given you might be involved in nutrition of the health professions maybe the population at large is suffering from pica given the stuff people currently believe is food. 🙂
I understand where you are coming from. We have without TV for many years but own many of the BBC series hosted by David Attenborough. They are our go to entertainment.
Who needs TV? There are so many good videos online now. We’ve been going to pbs.org lately to watch Masterpiece or other series like the Roosevelts. We aren’t in the habit of it, but when the urge arises, good stuff can always be found online.

Hi, these guys are usually up high in the rocks and you can usually find them first by listening for the unique high pitched cheep they make.
