Just happened upon this tree and the light and the weather was just right to give that other worldly look. It was taken in a forest in which we had a huge fire over a decade ago and it still has a somewhat haunted feel. Hope you are having a great day.
I generally prefer color to B&W photography but this works extremely well. I don’t know that color would have worked at all in getting this feel. The sharpness, detail, and range of tones along with the fantastic composition make for a really nice picture.
Hi David,thanks for the thoughtful feedback. The BW conversion really did help this photo although the day an flight that afternoon was somewhat BW to begin with. However, BW just made it complete. Hope your day is going great and thanks again for the feedback as it ti appreciated.
