Patience

Geese_fog_1

A lone Bufflehead and several flocks of Geese waiting for the fog to lift and sun to rise on a short December day.

Keeping warm was the main activity on the frigid morning -7F (-21C) along the South Platte river where I am sure the water was warmer than the air.

    1. Thanks for liking the geese. They are a bit of a contentious bird to love. They overrun the parks, poo all over the place and can be somewhat aggressive. I had one chase me in flight two days in a row a few years back while I was ridding my bicycle down the bike path on the way to work. Too cold this morning for them to do much but wait till the sun came out.

    1. Hi Jane, I really liked that the fog made it somewhat mysterious and that even common birds like giant flocks of geese took on that mysterious feel in the cold and fog. Hope your weekend is great.
