Ute canyon was still dressed in the fabric of winter while we were hiking in t-shirts and shorts on an unseasonable warm and absolutely wonderful March morning. The sky was the bluest of blue and the canyon walls a wonderful red while the grass remained a winters brown. Ute Canyon, Colorado National Monument.

I think this area and the vicinity is so beautifully landscaped, that one does not need to be a photographer to capture the magnificence of this location.
